2 - 2.6 Years Activities

18th Oct: Started to ask same questions repeatedly. Asked me who bought me the nighty, a tree story and a kutti-dog story. Each thing she might have asked to repeat 50 times.

Whenever she cries, she asks us to take her outside.

3rd Dec: Went to Nanganallur leaving me at home ans stayed there for 3 hours without remembering me.

5th Dec: First time she urinated in bathroom for full day. But later sometimes she will tell and sometimes she will not.

She gives excellent clues and make us understand what she trying to tell.This is from her childhood itself.

Very frequently playing substitute game. I mean she used to tell 'mee murali mama, thu vimala aaji', 'mee neeraja, thu viji athai' etc. She correctly connects names in this.

28th Jan: First day of play school

28th Mar: Last day of play school

Never allow me to lie down. Whenever i lie down, she will come and put her face, back and whole body on my face.   

Plays & Activities: 22 - 24 Months

24th Month:
. She used to club 'baa baa black sheep' and 'abcd', but in this 24th month only she said both rhymes correctly.

. When someone came to our home, my mil taught her to tell 'vaango' and she told the same. At night she was giving me something and telling 'amma, maayingo'. 

. Tells almost all rhymes she knows and sees.

.Watches movie songs - kids entertainer. She observes all moves and unknowingly she will repeat the actions.

. After bathing, she will never allow me to dry her with towel and asks me 'betinga ma' to hug her.

. Whenever I laugh, she keeps asking 'ma, kaaya ma (what)'


. Never allow me to talk to anybody. She keeps gaining attention.



23rd Month:
. Tells fully ring-o-ringa and happy birthday to you

. Tells Prahalladh story

. Every time when I site in computer to work, she used to say 'kaam nakko'. Today she was behaving naughty by taking the things from room's cupboard when I was working. So I turned back and her 'nakko maanu, amma will beat you' and she told 'amma, kaam paa'. I just cannot stop laughing and immediately called up her dad and shared the news.

. When ever she does any mischievous things, immediately when I raise my voice and say 'maanu', she will continue 'maanu, naako' in the same style and modulation how I do it.

. Very cute when she says 'paathane' (don't see). She used to say this frequently.

. Used to beat us (just for kidding) and we need to cry. Then she will sing 'Tharangam' song and we have to laugh. Never gets bored with this game once started.

. When ever we used to ask her to sing song, she will lower her voice, make her face serious, eye bros crossed and with very beautiful expression she will sing 'beja baaro'. She is a queen of expressions from her 3rd month itself.

. Sep 1: I was telling her when bathing that today is Lord Ganesh's birthday and so we should do pooja. Later when her dad did archana by reading Ashtothram, she also started to put flowers to God. After sometime, she put flowers along with singing happy birthday song. We just felt proud and happy.

. Sings almost all the rhymes in her own language. Top one is 'jack a jill, cape a gill'.

. Surprises with kisses, i love you's and 'amma pajje''s


22nd Month:
. Tells almost all rhymes partially. Twinkle, baba, telugu and many rhymes

. Lots of words to speak

. Though sits nearby, goes near main door when I do 'ushta sena' and comes by running to the area and expects us to stop her

. Never let my sticker or hand band to be in its place

. Tells everything as 'ON' whether to open a bottle, on her batteried toys, teddy bears, powder box etc

. Plays 'andhar-ujhad' with dad at night times

. Identifies who speaks over phone just hearing an Hello

. Uses 'allu' for almost everything. Eg: allu oota, allu A etc

. If we get angry on her, she used to ask 'raagi a?'(angry?), if we say yes, she will say 'aancha? pls aancha?'(smile?), by slanting her head. Even if we are really angry, these actions will make us laugh.

Plays & Activities: 19 - 21 Months

19th Month:
2 May: Played some helicopter-race game in computer with Hari-anna and scored 120 points.
14 May: Identifies songs when we sing the met. Krishna nee, robot dance, jhony yes papa etc

. Calls other ladies as aunty, but continues to say mama only, not uncle

. Attracts every family in the flats in their ways.
Hema - ape, ape (help help)
Thathaji - radhe radhe
Police family - smiles eeee
Mukund family - bobo (robot)

20th Month:
. Tells 'thanks' for every help. If someone gives her anything like biscuits, vadams, water etc
. Lots of words to speak
. Refers sun as 'ssshaa'
. Stared to tell uncle

Plays & Activities: 16 - 18 Months

16th Month:
28 Jan: Bus travel
9 Feb: Share Auto travel
10 Feb: Hundi saving started

. Flawless walk started
. Actions rabbit story
. She lifts/moves buckets/water bottles, but cries as she is not able to make it stand. Fun to watch her cry for this.
. Switches on/off her laptop by herself

17th Month:
. Plays her laptop. If we ask her to press elephant, baby cry, aeroplane, zeebra etc, she will press it correctly.
. Speaks something by standing, which is very cute to watch (video available)
. Always try to make us laugh by any means
. Usually when she sits in her toilet seat,I used to sit beside her. Once I was cutting my toe-nails and throwing inside bathroom. So from next time, every time she does 'kaka', she acts like peeling my toe nails and throwing into bathroom
. Does non Stop walking across the rooms
. Does action for rhymes, raise your hands, i have ten little fingers and when you are happy etc
. Tells a, aa and two, nine, nine
. Never tells one, she starts with two. Alphabets also she starts with b, c.
. Imitates FIL doing exercises. Asks him to say a, aa and encourages him by clapping her hands
. Whatever she does, expects appreciation as claps
. Likes usha udup's nursery rhymes
. Always wants to go out


18th Month:
26 Mar: I advised her not to fight with other children and need to share toys with all when he fought with other kids in hospital's play area.

. says many words like duck, light, fan, pottu etc
. Tells when asked where mama will kiss
. Plays 'peek-a-boo' for her legs with towel
. While we cry for play, she will not accept if we close our face with one hand. She will force us to close with both hands.
. Try to repeat all words we say

10 Sep: Crawled to main door and started to knock it, as an indication to go out

. For 'atlinga pitlinga' she will tell something immediately
. Does action for Hanuman's mouth

. If we sign silently amma and ask her what it is, she will tell it

. Talk continuously and sometimes answers our queries accidentally
. She slants her head and sees, which is very cute to watch
. She will hold our fingers and make us to clap our hands
. Master in kneeling down
. Enjoys hide-n-seek and peek-a-boo very much. When she is on her stomach and play this game, she used to get excited and beat the bed strongly with hands
. Is we try to take snap, she will slant her head beautifully and see our face
. Till 9th month she used to raise her legs and keep.

27 May: Rice

. Cannot leave her alone in bed. She will roll over and play

. If she do not want to sleep, she will stretch her body and stand from our lap
. She used to beat cheeks & head strongly, mostly her dad's
. She used to jump in joy with scream. We used to get tired if she starts to jump
. She got 4 tooth
. Started to pick camera, than to give poses

Plays & Activities - 7th Month

. Imitate horse running movement
. Started to talk continuously like baba, mama, amma, appa etc
. Started to eat fruits & vegetables
. Got 2 tooth
. Did shopping
. From 7.5 months she got her sleep consistently
. She used to 'wink-eye' if she is not comfortable with something
. Laughs aloud
. Started to get more jollu
. She used to do 'cry like gesture', which is fun to watch

. Lied on stomach first by doctor, then by me and then by herself

. Sucks either all fingers or just F, M & R fingers. No thumb suck
. Laughing aloud and stronger sounds
. Cycling - Strong movements and cute expressions
. Started to move in circle while sleeping
. Started to held things in hand. Toys, pen etc
. If we held her hand, she will try to get up.
. Learned to Shake hands
. Talk with toys in mute by just giving movements to her mouth

1 Feb: Rolled over 2 times continuously like 'urala dhadigey'
5 Feb: Boiled rice kanji started, started to play with her fingers and see her wrist / bangles
7 Feb: Bike ride with Murali and dad for polio drops
8 Feb:
--Learned to shake hands. She will never leave our hands and try to get up with it.
--She tried to reach a toy I showed her. When I took it near her, she grabbed it.
--Held her toes with her hands
--Tried to move forward when lying on stomach
